CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions from transport
Description: The resourse presents a learning activity for school education, inviting the students to research on CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions from transport, and link this knowledge to their own mobility practices by monitoring the CO2 produced by different means of transport they use for travelling to and from school. Although most of the recommended resources presented through QR codes are outdated, they can easily be substituted by current updated resources on the same topics. Moreover, the value of the learning activity is mainly in helping the students discover their own role as citizens, realise their impact in the real world, and explore applicable solutions in their specific context. Ways to help students find available info on carbon dioxide production using different modes of transport and consider ways to reduce production to achieve higher air quality.
